Interface: SourceItem

A single playable rendition of a source (one entry of SourceDescription.sources).

Properties​

src​

src: string

Absolute or relative URL of the media (.mp4, .mp3, .m3u8, .mpd, …).

type?​

optional type?: string

MIME type of the media, e.g. video/mp4, audio/mpeg, application/x-mpegURL (HLS), application/dash+xml (DASH). Strongly recommended (it lets the player pick the right tech without sniffing, and an audio/* type collapses the player to audio-only chrome immediately).
